Officers: Men Wanted in Vehicle Theft Case
Thursday, January 6, 2011

Cayce, SC (WLTX) -- Cayce officers want to know if you've seen the two men depicted in surveillance images.

Investigators with the Cayce Department of Public Safety said the men are each considered "persons of interest" after a 1993 burgundy Ford Explorer was taken from the Pilot Travel Center at 3008 Charleston Highway.

Officers say the theft happened on Dec. 18. The stolen car has a SC tag of GDY 743, police say.

According to investigators, the men were seen driving a dark colored van close to where the Explorer was stolen.

If you can help officers track down the persons of interest, you are urged to call CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at 1-888-CRIME-SC or text a tip to "CRIMES" beginning with the term "TIPSC."
