Murdered Mother and Daughter Identified

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The mother and daughter who were found murdered this weekend have been identified.

Candra M. Alston, 25, and her daughter, Malaysia Boykin, 3, were found dead at their Broad River Road apartment on Sunday, coroner Gary Watts said. Previous Coverage: Two People Found Dead in Columbia Apartment

Watts called the murder scene at the Brook Pines Apartments one of the worst he has come across in 30 years on the job. He did not detail the exact cause of death but said the victims may have been killed on Friday.
