Michelle Rego, Midlands Woman Reported Missing, Returns Home Safe

Little Mountain, SC (WLTX) - A woman who had been reported missing in Richland County has returned home and is safe.

Richland County deputies say 28-year-old Michelle Rego is back with her family.

Deputies say Rego left her Northwest Richland County home December 27 to to visit a friend in the area. Relatives told Richland County deputies that Rego never made it to where she was going.

Investigators say they haven't yet determined where she was during the time she was away, but that she left on her own choosing and came back this weekend.
