Columbia Restaurant Robbed, Police Search for Gunmen
Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are searching for the gunmen who robbed a Harbison area restaurant Tuesday morning.

It happened about 9 a.m. at Wild Wing Cafe along Bower Parkway. Police say two men, armed with guns, approached an employee at the back of the store and forced that worker inside.

Police say the men were wearing navy blue or black jackets, dark-colored sweat pants, gloves and ski masks. They demanded that the employee open the restaurant's safe, took some of the money inside, and ran away.

No one was hurt, and police say no shots were fired.
