Sheriff's Deputies look for suspects in Armed Robberies

LANCASTER COUNTY, SC - Sheriff's deputies in Lancaster County are trying to find possibly five suspects wanted in connection with two armed robberies that have happened there within a week.

Three black males robbed the Stop-N-Shop at 2147 McIlwain Road in Lancaster around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1.

The suspects may be in their late teens and mid twenties. They were wearing black jeans, purple hooded jackets and had a dark bandanna covering their faces.

The sheriff's office says the suspects were armed with handguns in which they displayed inside the store. The robbers demanded cash, but the clerk told them she did not have any money. The suspects left without injuring the clerk.

The second robbery happened on Monday, Dec. 6 at a business called Lloyd's which is located at 650 Monroe Highway in Lancaster.

The suspects in this crime are described as two white males between the ages of 15 and 22.

One suspect was approximately 6'1" tall and 150 pounds in weight. He was wearing a black hooded jacket and had on a mask that covered his nose and mouth. He was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket and had on a mask that covered his nose and mouth. He was unarmed.

The suspects entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded cash. The suspects then left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and a beer.
