Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and Crimestoppers Seek Runaway Girl and Wanted Man

SUMTER, SC - The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and Crimestoppers need your help finding 13 year old Ashley Grace Ward and 18 year old Simeon Janard Canty. Sumter County has a warrant for Canty’s arrest for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Ward and Canty were last seen in the Columbia area at a McDonalds on Garners Ferry Road on November 11 at approximately noon. Investigators believe it is the McDonalds closest to the Woodhill Mall.

Ward is a 13 year old white female, 5’ 07”, and 160 lbs. Canty is an 18 year old Black male, 6’02” and 160 lbs. Investigators say Canty has ties to South Florida.

If you, or someone you know, have any information regarding any crime, you are encouraged to contact Crimestoppers. You could earn a reward up to $1,000.
