Suspect wanted for running over man who talked to his girlfriend

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - Richland County deputies are looking for a suspect they say tried to kill a man for talking to his girlfriend.

Sheriff Leon Lott said 41-year-old Clarence Outen of Elgin (pictured to the right) ran over another man with his vehicle for talking to his girlfriend. The victim was left with extensive injuries to his upper and lower body.

Lott said Outen was last seen driving a black Ford Expedition with tinted windows and rims. Once caught, deputies say Outen will be charged with attempted murder.
